NOTE: I had thirty minutes to write the second half of this post and decided to do so, start to end, without looking back more than a sentence or two. Grammarly was left off, no prompt boxes to dismiss en route to the finish (you can tell because the are no annoying hyphens stuck all over the place) , only standard spellcheck- I think it comes with Windows?
Now, a day or two later, I’ve proven what we all already know- read as you write. Proof and correct your work at least twice, and don’t trust Grammarly. Never use its (or any) AI function. Uninstall if you can, or dare. I experimented with it for pictures on my first couple of posts here on WPress. When I found out more about AI, I quit because it uses nearly as much power (electricity and water) as the current administration is trying to grab.
Anyway, this is all to explain the second half of this post. I’ve read this upper section once the with some corrections. My spelling has improved. There’s no sense in reading the next section. By the way, don’t “like” my posts without reading a sentence or two. It only gives me false hope, of which, as you can tell, I have entirely too much of.

Yeah? So, I couldn’t find the daily prompt after I returned from the pharmacy. I went to check if my insulin will arrive before I run out. Before that, I filled a request from my wife to sort the socks into folded balls and put them away. Before I could start doing that, I needed to find my phone and something on YouTube worth listening to as I tasked.
That took longer than usual because it’s mostly politics there, relentless adds no not forget to sign in for the “twenty-thousand-dollars for food” that the government is giving away because I’m over 65 (like I want to to be remindedthat every fifteen minutes) I should hurry because the offer that has run for at least 3 years and in a in two states, needs to be skipped every fifteen minutes- but ends this Friday, or the end of the week, or year. There are so many versions of this ad that no one can block them all, ever!
So that prolonged my sock sorting. By then, I had thirty minutes to begin writing this before lunch. Now, I’m impressed with myself, as it’s only been 15 minutes so far. Maybe there’s time now to find and post a picture or two with this, and still have time after lunch to treat myself to a run over to Barnes and Noble. I’ll bring my tablet and work on more involved projects for an hour or two.
It’s a pleasant habit, this WorkPress stuff. It gives me a chance to go through my old High School binders. The ones I’d forgotten, but recently found stuffed into my brother’s garage. It’s much better to be doing this than many, many of the things I might have done in the past.
But I digress. I’ve had to. One post I’ll tell you why, but for now I need to get home because it’s dance night! YAY!
Sorry, time’s up! Have a great weekend!
