My apologies! The cleaning party scheduled at our house tomorrow has been postponed indefinitely. My father-in-law has taken a slight turn for the worse. Not terribly worse, but worse enough for my wife to delay her return home for a bit longer. Also, while in Jaipur, she’s had an opportunity to visit Abda and witness how she is flourishing in her new home with native cows.

A rescheduled cleaning party and new sign-up date will be announced as soon as we have some information concerning Nalini’s updated return. Those who weren’t signed up and had planned to just drop by and show up unannounced tomorrow (Friday) are welcome to wash our cars. Both will be parked in the driveway near Abda’s old stall. I will leave a hose attached to the outdoor faucet by the porch, as well as some soap and towels nearby. Waxing is not necessary.

Those who were pre-registered should receive this note in time to know not to attend tomorrow. Should this not be the case, and preregistered people do arrive because they did not receive or bother to read this message, they may still participate by supervising and instructing the drop-bys on proper car washing protocol. Google “How do I wash my car?” for basic technical advice. Verbal abuse is not encouraged.

Please do not drink from the hose. This is New Mexico, birthplace of the atomic bomb. Radiation and aliens are everywhere. Not to mention ICE!
